Ahmedabad Introduces National AI Healthcare Declaration

Ahmedabad hosted medical experts and technologists to launch a guiding framework for using AI in healthcare. It focuses on ethical, safe, and patient-friendly AI in hospitals.

Ahmedabad brought together doctors, technology experts, and hospital leaders to create a set of guidelines for using AI in healthcare. The framework focuses on safe and ethical use of AI, making sure doctors remain in charge of patient care. It also encourages AI tools to work smoothly with hospital systems for better efficiency. Another important goal is to extend AI-based healthcare support to smaller cities, where access to specialists is limited.

The event called Hospex 2026 took place with the help of many participants from around the world. During the event, speakers talked about how artificial intelligence can be used in healthcare. They discussed different ways AI can help, such as predicting diseases and managing medical data.

Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, who started the organization's health parliament, gave a speech about how AI is changing. He explained that AI is evolving quickly, moving from simple responses to being fully autonomous. He said it’s important not to be afraid of new technology but to keep up with it so we stay ahead. He encouraged doctors to be creative and innovative with AI.
