International Healthcare Week 2025 to Boost Innovation and Growth in Southeast Asia

The International Healthcare Week 2025, Southeast Asia’s premier healthcare event, will be organized at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur, from 16 to 18 July. The event, initiated by Informa Markets, IHW 2025, aims to introduce innovation, foster economic growth, and promote regional collaboration in the healthcare market. The event will consist of 900 leading local, international, and regional exhibitors. They will further introduce 15,000 products and services in the presence of 21,000 professionals from 50 countries. IHW 2025 will unlock growth, opportunities, business development, and knowledge exchange.

Trade shows

IHW 2025 will lead five international trade exhibitions at one venue. The international trade exhibition will explain the entire healthcare value chain, collaboration, learning opportunities, innovation, and investment in the Healthcare market. It is confirmed by the regional portfolio director of ASEAN at Informa Markets, Rungphech (Rose) Chitanuwat. The exhibition will specify the development and needs of various industries.

The country's respective agenda and criteria at the event consist of their specialization:

• The CPHI Southeast Asia covers the entire pharmaceutical production supply chain.
• Medtech Southeast Asia is known for its manufacturing and design of medical technologies and devices.
• WHX Kuala Lumpur and WHX labs Kuala Lumpur mainly focus on hospital services, healthcare systems, and medical devices. It also includes a premier medical laboratory regional event.
• The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is a popular global conference consists of exploring and develops digital health themes. Digitalization like data innovation, equitable care delivery, artificial intelligence, and workforce transformation.

Aim

Malaysia contributes to identifying critical challenges like digital health adoption and supply chain resilience. It also promotes regional healthcare cooperation. The IHW 2025 is integrated with ASEAN’s objectives to accelerate and improve health outcomes, healthcare systems. Further, the event aims to elevate partnership and networking to introduce advancement by investing in healthcare infrastructure and services.
