Modular Medical presents Pivot Pump at ADCES

Announcement

Modular Medical Inc., a leading insulin delivery technology company with its first-ever FDA-approved patch pump introduced mainly to target all adult ‘almost-pumpers’ with its affordable and user-friendly aspect, participated in the Association of diabetes care and Education Specialists (ADCES) conference, held in Phoenix, Arizona, from August 8 to August 11, 2025. With around 11,000 members, the ADCES is a national network of diabetes care and education leaders working towards optimizing clinical outcomes for diabetes people.

Modular Medical’s Highlight at ADCES

Modular Medical will showcase its first-ever gamer level of the new pivot pump gamified training module. The module has been generated by level Ex. Level Ex, powered by Relevate, is the main developer of several medical games, including Level One. The level one game is developed to teach the basics of caring for diabetes individuals. Breakthrough T1D, a known global type 1 diabetes research and advocacy organization, endorsed the Level One game.

Gamification is a proven and trusted hub to initiate medical training more precisely perfect which will be more efficient and effective for improving retention of knowledge and clinicians as well. The complex area consisting of technology support is a major issue in pump uptake and will continue to be a hurdle to adoption, affecting the provider and the patient.

A trailer to this gameplay is available for viewing on the modular medical website, modular-medical.com, under the investor section. Modular Medical predicts the training modules for the pivot pump to be available with the product launch in 2026.

Views and Statements from Company Leaders

CEO of Modular Medical, Jeb Besser, said, “The ADCES conference is an ideal place for us to introduce our next-generation patch pump, commercialized as Pivot. For this, we intended to file for US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance in October 2025. Education specialists and diabetes care are major in prescribing and offering to successfully achieve improvement in clinical outcomes, and I hope we receive positive feedback for our user-friendly designed pivot pump. Also, we hope for the appreciation of our efforts in making diabetes care easier to learn and manage for our audience of almost pumpers.”

CEO of Level Ex, Sam Glassenberg, said, “Level one is free as we feel diabetes mastery shouldn’t come with a price tag. Modular medical efforts are breaking barriers, too, by introducing pump therapy to a vast population with its accessible, smart design. Together, we plan to make diabetes management easier and inclusive.”
