OpenAI is unlocking new job opportunities in the emerging AI world through the OpenAI-sponsored jobs platform and certification program introduced to help employers and workers compete in an economy that is increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence. In one of the blog posts on Thursday was all about new initiatives led by fiidji simo, CEO of Applications at OpenAI, mentioned that AI will reveal new opportunities that will be beneficial and disruptive. The new OpenAI jobs platform will involve AI to expand businesses that will support tasks, including AI, along with skilled candidates who are excellent in AI.
The post highlighted, company’s second initiative, which is a new OpenAI certification that will help to officially shape businesses to guide employees and candidates on how to learn and execute AI in the vast business. This program consists of tools that help individuals achieve certification that will enable numerous levels of certification, ranging from the basics, prompting engineering, and will make a place in the company's own development and learning programs. OpenAI focuses on successfully certifying 10 million Americans by 2030.
In the previous initiatives, OpenAI confirmed in April that they introduced OpenAI Academy, a free learning hub for AI. The company’s sites include tutorials, other content, and videos, serving collaboration and networking, consisting of topics such as collaboration with AI, group work and projects simplified, and ChatGPT for data analysis and advanced prompt engineering. This will shape the future of new talent to survive in the competitive world that has highly adopted AI in its large businesses.
Simo said, “At OpenAI, we can’t discard the disruption, but we can help individuals with the training to gain proficiency in AI and help connect them with the leading companies that require skilled AI experts. The jobs platform's motive is beyond attracting immense talent for big companies, but also marks a dedication to efforts for local businesses and governments to lead ahead. Also, it may discover AI talent the company needs to best deliver to their constituents.”
Further, he added, “We are aware of the reskilling and upskilling programs that include mixed records that have not always enabled better jobs or higher pay. To this, we have studied what actually lacked in the past, and so we are launching our programs to better deliver the needs of both companies and workers.”
