Plug and Play New Healthcare Program in Orlando

Plug and Play launches a new healthcare innovation accelerator in Orlando to foster digital health breakthroughs

Plug and Play, a global innovation platform, will be launching a healthcare program in Orlando, Florida. Under the partnership with Orlando Health, KPMG LLP, and Guidewell, the program will be inviting around 10 to 12 startups in its inaugural cohort. The program will officially be presented on 4th August 2025 at the Guidewell Innovation Center in the Lake Nona region. The startups can complete the application process (form) on the plug-and-play website. This program intends to improve customer care in the healthcare line by involving new technologies in the services. Plug and play and its partners are currently focusing on supporting startups and further encouraging them to showcase their solutions and interact with the suitable customers who require their innovative solutions. The program will bring several opportunities to startups and ideas, redesigning the healthcare market’s future.

Program’s Expectations and Preparations

Along with the advancement, the program is expected to unlock economic benefits for the region. The attractive global startups and access to outside capital will be an encouragement for new companies to compete in Central Florida. The economic stability of the region will provide jobs, rank Orlando as a strong hub, and empower local entrepreneurship for health innovation worldwide. The participants will be provided with a vast number of resources, like mentorship sessions, investment ideas, expos, workshops, and business development support. The key areas are enhancements to patient care and advancement in healthcare technologies.

Furthermore, the event will cover panel discussions, startup pitches, and keynote speeches, which will open doors for opportunities for partnering and networking among global leaders in technology and healthcare across the Orlando region.
