Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals has introduced a new digital procurement platform for its Nigerian health market. Also, its efforts to enhance medicine supply chains as an excellent initiative to deal with systemic inefficiencies impacting pharmacies and hospitals throughout the region. The revelation of the company’s Sceptre360 Pharma and B2B e-commerce platform highlighted Nigeria’s 65th independence anniversary. These solutions are engineered to identify major problems of stockouts, fragmented systems, and delays in supplies in the healthcare delivery. This launch is a dedication of the arrowhead to introduce a tech-advanced solution in Nigeria’s healthcare sector.
The B2B e-commerce platform enables healthcare institutions to perform digitally in the medical supplies and ordering medicines process. Pharmacies and hospitals will then be able to span catalogs as per the contract, pricing, real-time deliveries, approval of vast orders safely, and inventory tracking.
Further, the digital procurement system showcased Sceptre360 Pharma, which indicated the motive of fueling medical distribution and availability. It unifies data, logistics, and technology to improve and streamline medicines to health facilities. Arrowhead stated that the system is engineered to reduce procurement costs and shortages, and also discover sustainable revenue models for healthcare professionals.
