The United States giant healthcare Bon Secours Mercy Health (BSMH) is extending its operations in the Philippines with its inauguration of a new office purpose-built for the scalability of its served global business services (GBS). The BSMH is a known catholic non-profit health institution in the US with its established GBS center in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) to improve its mission in the Philippines. The Philippines holds the majority of the catholic population.
The GBS Manila office, situated at Park Triangle Corporate Center in BGC, will provide a perfect space for around 250 employees. The Filipino talent in the new office will provide fundamental finance, supply chain, site support functions, and human resources. Alongside delivering BSMH operations and associates in Ireland and the US. The GBS Manila country head, Sam Padilla, stated that this extension mirrors the company’s key commitment of being a pivotal partner to the Philippines in its worldwide operations.
Padilla further added, “With the investment in Filipino expertise and talent, we are forming a comprehensive foundation to contribute the best to our global operations. Also, adopt an easy partnership and improve efficiency across the globe. Our associates at Bon Secours Mercy Health at every center/office are well guided by our and joint values to expand the dedicated ministry of lord Jesus.” Further, “The inauguration of our new GBS office in the Philippines represents a major milestone in uplifting our ministry goal globally.”
The BSMH identifies the Philippines as a crucial component in its longstanding smart global strategy of improvisation and seamless partnership. The new office allows the company to extend its overseas international healthcare presence, advancing and improving patient care and access responsibility. BSMH has managed to build a strong presence in the country via its global ministries' backup. This backup enables quick disaster response and long-standing rehabilitation initiatives.
BSMH has its headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, with over 1,200 care sites and 50 hospitals throughout Ireland and the US. The company is dedicated to caring for patients over 11 million times yearly, with a hiring capacity of around 60,000 staff members globally. The office of the special assistant to the president for investment and economic affairs (OSAPIEA) last stated in July that BSMH has planned to extend its GBS workforce by 1,200, adding to its current 170 force in the region.
