Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, Inc., a known healthcare IT solutions and medical diagnostic imaging provider, proudly introduced its new KDR FMT and KDR FMT+ digital radiography (DR) systems at the Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2025. These new DR systems will be remembered as the next robust progression in floor-mounted DR systems from Konica Minolta. These systems are engineered to serve the best of reliability, workflow efficiency and high image quality. At RSNA’s booth no. 2165, Konica Minolta will be demonstrating its excellence.
Konica Minolta Healthcare supports life-changing advances via transitioning the primary imaging that makes space for the invisible to be seen. The company has been dedicatedly to working in and introducing the beneficial discoveries and innovations that have long supported and accelerated the vast healthcare sector.
Confidently rooted in the most reliable performance and excellence of the KDR product line, this DR system represents Konica Minolta’s trademark tube-mounted control interface for a rationalised patient workflow. The KDR FMT is a full-fledged manual system perfect for the low-to-mid volume imaging requirement that delivers simplified ease of use and accuracy. The KDR FMT+ integrates the automatic detector tracking and motorised movement that makes it an ideal solution for mid-to-high volume practices.
These practices search for the shift to leverage throughput and improve patient care. The system serves on-point imaging flexibility, along with a table that supports around 700 lbs of support and a backbone-like wall stand for every imaging view necessary in general radiography. It’s also important to navigate patients who are lying, sitting or standing on the table. These two systems are accessible with Konica Minolta’s ULTRA imaging software, highlighting REALISM image processing for the unique contrast, sharpness and sensitivity.
The PhD, Marketing Director for Digital Radiography, Konica Minolta Healthcare, Guillermo Sander, said, “Our new DR systems will capitalise on the versatile imaging potential and at a peak image quality for which the KDR family of DR systems is known. The comprehensive technology of the KDR FMT and KDR FMT+ is engineered to accelerate clinical confidence, economic value and productivity.”
Sander added, “Though the versatility and strength factor have been achieved, the solutions are the tube-mounted control, image display and seamless one to serve infinite patient-facing time while the procedure to further improve their experience and patient care.”
