Announcement

Tapway has officially entered a new partnership with three Thai firms to extend its availability of its visionized AI platforms, samuAI in Thailand, after its earlier extensive approach into Indonesia. The Tapway’s appointment of Appomax, SI media, and Advantech as official channel partners specifies a next step in forming its network in Southeast Asia, which now consists of Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore. The company is working on a channel-first approach to announce its vision AI technology to new markets, focusing on a vast range of sectors like manufacturing, smart city infrastructure, logistics, and retail. The collaboration’s purpose is to operate the distribution of the samurai license in Thailand, along with the local partners, enabling technical expertise and implementation, and support services.

The Tapway’s samurai platform was reinforced in 2024, launched mainly for free coding deployment of AI-powered visual analytics using customizable models or prebuilt ones. The company claims that the technology is in use at above 2,000 locations across Southeast Asia and plans to increase the number in the next two years. With the help of this strategic channel partnership, Tapway is focusing on making advanced vision AI tools more accessible, especially in small and medium-sized enterprises that don’t have much budget to equip automation technologies.

Tapway’s samurAI pricing structure, customizability, and deployment time are major elements focusing on reducing the entry-level barriers for business adoption of vision AI. Tapway is further planning to install 500 vision AI camera licenses in Thailand in the next 12 months, contributing highly to its extensive objectives and launch of samurAI to various business environments.

Views and Statements from the Tech Market Leaders

CEO of Tapway, Lim Chee How, said, “Heading strong with our successful partnerships in Indonesia, we are now expanding into Thailand to provide the required innovation to the intelligent automation. This collaboration spots another major step towards making vision AI scalable, relevant for businesses in common, and accessible across Southeast Asia. We are focusing on the installation of 500 camera licenses in Thailand in the next 12 months.”

CEO of Appomax, Vikan Chirawatpongsa, said, “Our partnership with Tapway serves an AI vision that is reachable, immediate to deploy, flexible for customers to train additional models, and intuitive to operate on their own. Merged with a reasonable price point, below the comparable end-user platforms, it allows manufacturers to adopt advanced AI potency, eliminating complexity or high cost.”
