Magnet Hospitals announced the launch of its doctor-driven hospital network on Doctors' Day to enhance transparency, belief, and kindness. Reputed by a distinguished medical care executive, Mr. Dinesh Madhavan, with health businesspersons, Magnet Hospitals is creating a novel healthcare technology where doctors and nurses are not just medical care providers but also co-owners.
Launched on Doctor's Day, the system begins operations with 8 hospitals located in Bengaluru, under a unified platform. These hospitals are in Langford Town, Electronic City, Jayanagar, Arakere, Jigani, Jalahalli, Mahalakshmi Layout, and Nagarbhavi.
Speaking on the launch, Mr. Dinesh Madhavan, Managing Director, Magnet Hospitals, said, "Healthcare has always been built on trust. Today, patients feel disconnected from the care they receive. Magnet Hospitals is founded on these four pillars, viz, Trust, Transparency, Compassion & Clinical Outcomes. For the first time, doctors and nurses will be co-owners, thereby creating a healthcare ecosystem where every clinical decision is based on what's best for the patient. We will leverage Made-in-India technologies and medicines, thereby helping reduce healthcare costs while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence."
Chief Guest, Ms. Ashwini Puneet Rajkumar, Prominent Film Producer and Philanthropist, said, "Providing access to quality healthcare to the economically weaker sections of society has been my long-cherished goal. It is such a pleasure to announce the launch of Magnet Hospitals, co-founded by a group of healthcare entrepreneurs. What's more endearing is the fact that Magnet Hospitals has set up a charitable venture that shall help the needy under the aegis of Magnet Foundation that will offer 15 beds in total across Bangalore on charitable basis. We are fortunate that this venture has started in a city that is close to my heart, Bangalore."
According to Towards Healthcare, the Hospital Facilities Market is projected to experience significant growth, with estimates suggesting the market size will increase from USD 6.24 triillion in 2026 to approximately USD 11.33 trillion by 2035, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.85% from 2026 to 2035, driven by advanced hospitals offering centralized and inclusive strategies to healthcare management.

This facility offers significant educational resources to both visitors and patients. Some facilities provide courses, seminars, workshops, lectures, and different events to keep patients up-to-date on current technologies in medical care. There might be continuing education classes available to specialists seeking advanced degrees. Various hospitals host paediatric activities and camps, and hospitals invest money in offering amenities for patients and consumers. These facilities provide spacious lobbies, relaxed rooms, advanced technology, and loads of natural light. These characteristics are significant as they encourage patients to stay longer and feel healthier.
Magnet Hospitals is the first hospital network in India to launch a unique co-ownership structure providing physicians and nurses with healthcare equity in the holding organization. This structure aims to enhance care delivery to patients by linking it to advanced healthcare results while offering healthcare professionals advanced ownership and accountability. In the upcoming 24 months, the system intends to recruit over 200 physicians while increasing its presence to 12 places and almost 1,200 beds in Bengaluru.
The system is spending in technology-driven care delivery, collaborating with leading healthcare technology organizations, and an Agentic AI-based platform to strengthen operational effectiveness and improve patient experience.
Founded by Mr. Dinesh Madhavan, Magnet Hospitals proposes to redesign patient care via a relentless focus on trust, transparency, compassion, and healthcare results. Built and operated by a physician, Magnet Hospitals authorizes doctors and nurses with healthcare equity and leadership roles to co-create a doctor-led network of hospitals in Bengaluru. In addition to accepting and following national strategies and authorization frameworks, Magnet Hospitals has industrialized its own branded standards of accreditation and quality to ensure constant quality and excellence in facilities.
A recent report by Towards Healthcare highlights that the hospital facilities market is witnessing growth because these hospital facilities are increasing quickly as increasing demand, regulatory support, private spending, and technological progress. An increasing ageing population with a rising middle class and increasing longevity is improving the demand for health solutions, in addition to increasingly favouring healthcare and preventative solutions. Furthermore, a surge in the prevalence of lifestyle or long-term diseases integrated with higher purchasing capacity improves the demand for specialised medical care. Health insurance coverage is expected to surge significantly due to increasing income levels and urbanisation.
