Superlab Suisse has officially announced its fourth Swiss laboratory facility opening at Campus Biotech in Geneva. The new facility will be inaugurated by January 2026. The location will provide a vast space for a fully serviced laboratory, attracting life science companies and biotech startups in the Lake Geneva region. The expansion of Superlab Suisse has marked a national presence with its existing facilities in Basel, Zurich, and Lausanne. The site is shaped according to a demand for ready-to-use laboratory space by focusing on innovation and life science research. The convenient and advanced healthcare infrastructure enhances the regional approach. The opening of this new facility will lead to expansion and the introduction of new and existing innovations and development.
The facilities provided at the new Superlab Suisse Geneva will consist of shared and private lab spaces and on-demand access to scientific equipment. The full operational support, such as waste management, biosafety, and compliance. The easy access to the entrepreneurial and scientific ecosystem will enhance and leverage healthcare management. The integration of preferential rates with key lab suppliers through an established e-commerce platform.
The location will be pinned within campus biotech as a Geneva-based hub focusing on global health, neuroscience, and digital health. The additional institutional partners at the campus biotech consist of Hepia, EPFL, Foundation campus biotech Geneva (FCBG), FONGIT, HUG, the Wyss Center, and Université de Genève (UNIGE).
The Lake Geneva region is Switzerland’s ‘health valley’ and a center for 750 life science companies. Switzerland has been positioned first in the UN Global Innovation Index for almost 13 years and has witnessed a 50% growth in life sciences capital investment in 2024.
